Andile Jali loses PSL DRC case to Moroka Swallows
Andile Jali has lost his bid against Moroka Swallows for alleged non-payment of his salaries and unfair dismissal.
Andile Jali challenged a decision by troubled PSL club, Moroka Swallows to dismiss him follow a player’s strike last year. While he wasn’t named in the list of dismissed players, he was ultimately fired.
His representatives challenged his expulsion from the team.

MOROKA SWALLOWS COLLAPSE
After a non-payment scandal and a players’ protest, the Premier Soccer League hit Swallows with a fine of R1 million, of which R600,000 is suspended for a period of 24 months, provided Swallows will avoid the same offence.
Additionally, the Soweto giants handed six points to Mamelodi Sundowns and Golden Arrows, respectively, after the club had failed to appear for the said fixtures in December.

ANDILE JALI GOES TO COURT AND LOSES
Feeling his dismissal from the club was unjust, the Matatiele-born player took Swallows to court.
“Midfield dynamo Andile Jali has taken Moroka Swallows to the Premier Soccer League Dispute Resolution Chamber (DRC) for the club’s failure to pay his salaries,” the outlet reported.
“IDiski Times has learned that the matter will be heard on Valentine’s Day at the offices of the league in Parktown, with the player said to be represented by his legal team to fight for what he feels belongs to him.

Following this morning’s appearance, the DRC found the Swallows players’ strike illegal.
“SABC Sport can reveal midfielder Andile Jali has had his case against Moroka Swallows to be paid – and reinstated – struck off the roll by the Premier Soccer League’s dispute committee,” the national broadcaster reported.
“…The public broadcaster can now confirm the DRC has thrown out the matter and ordered the former Sundowns star to pay for the costs of the sitting,” the report added.
