Andile Jali is in the market for a new club – Kaizer Chiefs to pounce?

Andile Jali and his agent have stated that they want the former Sundowns and Pirates man to join a new club in the next week or two. Will Kaizer Chiefs pounce?

Mike Makaab has stated that he is searching for a new club for PSL veteran Jali.

In fact, he wants him to join a team sooner rather than later.

FORMER CHIEFS TARGET ANDILE JALI IS A FREE AGENT

Moroka Swallows released 22 players after they went on strike over wage disputes.

Furthermore, one of the players released is none other than former Bafana Bafana, Sundowns and Bucs midfielder, Jali.

He is now a free agent. Meaning, he can join any club he wants and is not limited by the transfer window.

“But we’re hoping within the next week or two we would have sorted their futures out (Jali and Lantshene Phalane),” Makaab stated on KickOff.

WILL AMAKHOSI RENEW INTEREST?

Chiefs were heavily linked with Jali when he left Sundowns last season. However, the move did not materialize after Jali reportedly arrived to training drunk.

Now, with Jali in the market for a club, Amakhosi could revisit their interest in the PSL veteran. As things stand, Amakhosi has expressed no interest in signing him. Meanwhile, his agent even stated that Amakhosi is no longer interested after signing Bafana Bafana midfielder, Sibongiseni Mthethwa.
