The defender is said to have been banned for “off-field misconduct,” according to the FARPost website.
Usuthu have reportedly begun an “internal investigation” into the incident and have issued him a “fine” after the 24-year-old stayed away from training for almost a month.
Mabiliso left AmaZulu in 2021, but returned to the DStv Premiership club last season.
In the 2023/24 season to date, he has played just three times across all competitions.

However, somewhat confusingly, AmaZulu PRO Philani Ndlela said that Mailiso has been absent due to injury.
Ndlela explained: “From what I know and what the team manager says, the player is out injured.
“Since the passing of Bongi [Ntuli], he was given the time off and he only returned for one day and picked up a serious injury.
“You can also confirm with his agent Basia [Michaels], I think she has the same information as myself.”
