uMkhonto weSizwe (MK) Party youth leader Bonginkosi Khanyile, says Springbok captain and ‘SA’s head boy,’’ Siya Kolisi, does not represent anything that has to do with black people.

In an interview on DJ Sbu’s podcast, The Hustlers Corner SA, Khanyile said black people should not idolise Kolisi and put him on a pedestal because he does not deserve such praise.

“He makes black people slaves of white people. Is Siya Kolisi a field Negro or a house one?” Khanyile asked, according to Independent Online.

KOLISI DOESN’T ACKNOWLEDGE HIS BLACKNESS – KHANYILE

He said Kolisi is a “house negro” who refuses to acknowledge his blackness but instead acts like a white man in a black man’s ski. The former #FeesMustFall protest leader said white South Africans have never moved an inch to accommodate black people in this country.

“You know, after celebrating the rugby (SA’s Rugby World Cup win), when the buses were moving around the suburbs of Cape Town, there were black and white people.

“But immediately when the bus went to Khayelitsha, all the white people remained behind. Siya Kolisi went alone. It’s on Google; search it if you want,” said Khanyile.

‘TALK ABOUT PLIGHT OF BLACK PEOPLE’

He said that black South Africans need to love themselves and stop trying to please white people who do not care about them.

Khanyile said he does not seek to destroy Kolisi but wants him to “come back home, act black, and talk black” so that he can inspire confidence in other black people. “He needs to speak about the plight of black people in South Africa but to do that, we must deal with his mindset,” he said.

Khanyile joined Umkhonto Wesizwe after being fired by Gayton McKenzie from the Patriotic Alliance in December.

MAJORITY OF PUBLIC COMMENTS IMPRESSED BY KHANYILE

The episode aired on Monday, March 11, with over 35,000 views and nearly 500 comments.

Most YouTube comments praise the interview and say Khanyile is a great leader and an obvious pick for the MK party. Others said they were not as impressed:

“This guy is a liability to the MK. He could have made his point without lying. The bus never went to Khayelitsha, but it went to KwaLanga with all the players. It went to kwaLanga even after the 2019 victory with all players present,” wrote an X (formerly Twitter user), Lunga_26.
