On Friday, Mzwanele Manyi announced his departure from the ATM to become a card-carrying member of the EFF.

Mzwanele Manyi, the spokesperson for the Jacob Zuma Foundation, announced he’s now a card-carrying member of the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) on Friday, 5 May.

MANYI LEAVES AFRICAN TRANSFORMATION MOVEMENT (ATM) TO JOIN EFF
On Friday, Manyi announced his immediate departure from the African Transformation Movement (ATM) “without fighting without anyone.” He said he hopes to be the bridge between the two parties.

“South Africa is fast deteriorating into a failed state. It, therefore, needs a shock treatment from an organisation whose posture is revolutionary.

“The EFF being the 3rd largest party in South Africa, is well poised to take over from the ANC quicker than any other party. The EFF is the real alternative that everyone has been asking about,” said Manyi.

PARTY LEADER, JULIUS MALEMA’S WARM WELCOME
Manyi said he joined as a rank-and-file member of the party and would contribute in that way. EFF leader welcomed him on Twitter and said, “Your credentials speak volumes, and we are more than confident that you will make a massive contribution to the success of the struggle for economic freedom in our lifetime.”
