A Former Wimbledon winner, has shared his thoughts on the GOAT debate in tennis and sided with Roger Federer.
Frederik Lochte Nielsen believes that right now it isn’t really possible to label someone as the GOAT definitively.

Nielsen elaborated that he personally prefers Roger Federer but wouldn’t call the Swiss star the Greatest of All Time.
He acknowledged that it is tough to compare players from different eras of the game.

“I find it incredibly uninteresting to debate who is the greatest of all time,” Nielsen said in an interview with SpilXperten.
“It’s fun to discuss who we think is the GOAT, but it’s not something I spend my time speculating about.

“It’s really difficult to compare eras. Björn Borg ended his career at the age of 26, but by then, he had already won 11 Grand Slams.
“Rafael Nadal has always been tremendously dominant on clay, and Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer were dominant in their own ways.”
“I find it uninteresting. It actually makes more sense to discuss personal preferences because then we’re not judging who was the best, but rather whom we may prefer.”
“For me, it will always be Roger Federer. I loved the way he played tennis, so he is my favourite, but I don’t feel like calling him the GOAT.”
NOVAK DJOKOVIC TRIES TO BE A DIFFERENT PERSON THAN HE IS
Nielsen earlier touched on what it was about Novak Djokovic that he didn’t like.
The Dane revealed that he thought Djokovic was pretending to be somebody he was not.
“That’s exactly what I find disappointing about Novak Djokovic,” Nielsen added.
“I really like Novak in many respects, but it disappoints me that he doesn’t stay true to himself.”
“He tries to show to himself and to the world that he is a different person than he actually is. I don’t think he needs to do that.”
