Wiese enjoyed an 18-Test Springbok career, which includes the triumphant RWC campaign in 1995 and concluded a year later in December of 1996 in a clash against Wales at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff.
His provincial laying career only extended two years beyond his international playing days, with Wiese bowing out from an illustrious career in 1998.
Post-retirement, the Rugby World Cup winner ventured into the restaurant trade and founded Wiesenhof Coffees and Dulce Café. Combined, his businesses have 90 stores nationwide.
