The official dam level stats in the Western Cape remain GOOD despite summer now in full swing.

The six major dams in the province – the Berg River, Steenbras Lower, Steenberg Upper, Theewaterskloof, Voelvlei and Wemmershoek – are cumulatively UP on a similar period last year.

The City of Cape Town uploaded its latest stats as of Monday, 11 December.

The latest figures show the six dams are a combined 93.1% of total storage.

That’s marginally down from 95.2% the previous week.

A year ago the combined percentage stood at 72.7%.
