VIDEO: Plane makes U-turn after passenger’s explosive diarrhoea
An unbelievable story has emerged about a flight forced to return to the US after a passenger suffered diarrhoea ‘all through the plane’.
Some truly astounding footage has gone viral from a Barcelona-bound Delta flight that was forced to return to Atlanta as a result of a passenger’s bout of “explosive diarrhoea” on board the plane.
The diarrhoea was so bad that it ran through the aisle of the plane, with the pilot declaring “a bio hazard” before U-turning back to Atlanta.

The video shows patches of brown-soaked paper towels used to cover the “excrement”, while apparently the clean-up job took around five hours as staff took out carpets and replaced them, while the 336 passengers waited in limbo until the mess was cleaned up.
One passenger reportedly said that a crew member sprayed vanilla scented disinfected after the ordeal, although it apparently didn’t help.
“It was pretty bad. It was dribbled down the aisle, smelled horrible,” the passenger was quoted as saying. “The vanilla scented disinfectant used on it only made it smell like vanilla s***. After the plane landed, it was thoroughly cleaned. They didn’t leave until around 2:30am. The flight was met by emergency vehicles and EMTs carried the sick passenger off the plane. My partner said the plane was cleaner when they got back on at 2am than it was the first time they got on. No smell either.”
In an audio transmission from the flight deck posted on X by an aviation enthusiast, the pilot said: “This is a biohazard issue. We’ve had a passenger who’s had diarrhoea all the way through the airplane, so they want us to come back to Atlanta.”
