URC quarter-finals: Here’s who will referee Stormers v Bulls showdown

The match officials appointed to take charge of the United Rugby Championship (URC) quarter-final between the Stormers and Bulls have been confirmed.

Jaco Peyper has been appointed as the referee for this weekend’s eagerly-awaited all-South African showdown between the Stormers and Bulls in Cape Town.

Peyper will be assisted by AJ Jacobs and Marius van der Westhuizen who will serve as the linesman, while Marius Jonker has been named as the TMO thus completing the all-South African officiating line-up.

Meanwhile, referee Craig Evans (Wales) will partner with touch judges Sam Grove-White (Scotland) and Hollie Davidson (Scotland) in officiating the clash between Leinster and the Sharks in Dublin. Ben Whitehouse (Wales) is the TMO.

DETAILS: URC playoffs take shape for SA teams

Andre Brace (Ireland) will be the man in the middle in the all-Irish URC quarter-final between Ulster and Connacht and will be assisted by Frank Murphy and Eoghan Cross. Their fellow Irishman Brian MacNeice will be the TMO for this game.

The last quarter-final, between the Glasgow Warriors and Munster, will be handled by Italian referee Andrea Piardi and he will be assisted down the touchlines by Adam Jones (Wales) and Manuel Bottino (Italy). TMO for the clash is Matteo Liperini, who is also an Italian.
