New Zealand have closed the gap between themselves and France in the World Rugby men’s rankings following their 35-20 win over the Springboks in Auckland on Saturday.

The All Blacks picked up 0.63 points for their win at the Mount Smart Stadium – with the Springboks losing a similar number of points.
However, there was no change the positions of the two sides in the standings.

Both sides will have next weekend off before the Springboks host Argentina at Ellis Park and the All Blacks travel to Australia to take on the Wallabies.
