BREAKING: TWO INJURED AS PEDESTRIAN BRIDGE COLLAPSED
According to a report by EWN Reporter, two people, a woman and a man, sustained serious to moderate injuries after a pedestrian bridge.

It is believed the bridge in Jeppestown is owned by PRASA.

PRASA REPROTEDLY OWNS THE BRIDGE
Reports from the scene indicate that the injured man is likely to have his ankle amputated.
Authorities are currently still at the scene.

Meanwhile, it has been six months have passed since the Boksburg explosion which left 41 people dead, dozens injured, and a nearby hospital devastated.
This explosion happened on Christmas Eve of last year. Videos of a raging fireball and images of burnt bodies were posted on social media in the aftermath of a tanker explosion in the eastern Johannesburg suburb of Boksburg.

The LP Gas tanker got stuck under a bridge and started leaking, resulting in a massive explosion that caused extensive damage to private and public infrastructure within an estimated 500 metres from the scene. The blast claimed the lives of at least 38 people, including OR Tambo Memorial Hospital staff.
