Following the loss of his mother, Hollywood legend Debbie Reynolds (84), who passed away within 24 hours of his 60-year-old sister Carrie Fisher’s passing, Todd Fisher has paid tribute to their close relationship with a touching post on Twitter.
He uploaded an illustration of mother and daughter, with Debbie dressed as her character from her most famous movie “Singin’ in the Rain” and Carrie dressed as her famous “Star Wars” character, Princess Leia.
Above the drawing is a line from “Singin’ in the Rain” – “What a glorious feeling. I’m happy again.” Carrie passed away on Tuesday after suffering a heart attack on a plane trip from London back home to Los Angeles for Christmas. Her mother is believed to have had a stroke the following day.
Beneath the pic, Todd wrote: “This is a beautiful love story to witness in my 58 years. I miss them both so much. Love is everlasting.”
According to reports, Todd revealed that just before his mother died she had said “I want to be with Carrie”.
