The Africa Wealth Report published annually by Henley & Partners, identifies trends and insight into wealth progressions and movements on the African continent. Henley & Partners published the 2024 report in partnership with the wealth intelligence firm New World Wealth. It shows interesting trends relating to the wealthiest countries and cities in Africa. In addition, it provides expert insights on economic mobility and investment migration.
HERMANUS TAKES TOP SPOT
The report identified the coastal town of Hermanus on the southern coast of the Western Cape province as the fastest-growing area for the very wealthy.
Hermanus is a peaceful town well-known for its whale watching hotspots. While it is removed from the hustle and bustle of city life, it is equipped with a host of amenities such as hospitals and schools. It is also conveniently located 121 km from the heart of Cape Town, 97 km from Stellenbosch, and 79 km from Somerset West.
