The Springboks are set to take on the All Blacks at DHL Stadium in Cape Town for the Castle Lager Rugby Championship Test on Saturday, 7 September 2024. Here are the details on road closures in the area and available parking options for spectators.

What time should you get there?

Gates at the DHL Stadium will open at 12:30. The Springbok Women will play against Barbarians RFC at 13:30. The Springboks vs. All Blacks match will kick off at 17:00.

According to capetownetc, it is best to be in the stadium precinct by 14:30 and be inside the stadium itself by 15:30 at the latest.

What parking options will be available?

There will be heavy traffic congestion in the area around the stadium, so it is best to plan ahead in terms of transport and parking options available.

It is important to note that no parking will be available at the DHL Stadium, unless you have an event-issued Vehicle Access Pass.

One option available to spectators is to park remotely and catch a free MyCiTi bus. There will be MyCiTi buses departing from the Civic Centre and Thibault Square bus stations, UCT, Century City Steelbridge e-parking, and also the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC).

Buses will depart every 20 minutes or when they have reached full capacity, and the last return bus will leave the stadium bus station at 21:30.

There are 500 free parking bays at the Century City Steelbridge e-parking for spectators with match tickets, with the first bus departing at 12:00.

Free public parking will be available on a first-come first-served basis at the Civic Centre from 11:00.

Those who park in the city centre, i.e. on-street parking, should be aware that there is no additional security at the parking spots and parking tariffs will apply until 13:00.
