These have been the most prolific Springbok points scorers at every Rugby World Cup since 1995.
Which Springbok will step up and scoop the title in France in 2023?
We take a look at every one of the Springboks’ top point-scorers at each of the seven Rugby World Cup tournaments South Africa participated in since readmission.
The Springboks didn’t compete at the first two Rugby World Cup events in 1987 and 1993 due to political reasons.
But since the dawn of democracy in the republic, the national rugby team has gone on to win a record three titles in seven attempts.

At those seven events the Springboks were present, several South African players have written their names into World Cup folklore with excellent performances.
Below is a list of every one of the Springboks’ top points scorers at every Rugby World Cup from 1995 to 2019.
Flyhalves rule the roost with seven of eight listed players being No 10s, while there’s only one fullback on the list.
