NEXT TOTAL SOLAR ECLIPSE VIEWABLE FROM SA IN 2030
Eclipse mania is currently sweeping across North America as the celestial event on Monday promises a rare blend of commerce, science – and celebration.
The moon’s shadow will land on Mexico’s Pacific coast at 20:07 (SA time), then speed northeast across a 15-state swath of the United States and on to Canada, exiting the continent over Newfoundland just under an hour and a half later.
The next visible eclipse in South Africa is the Partial Lunar Eclipse which is scheduled to take place on 18 September 2024.
Meanwhile, the next Total Solar Eclipse which will be visible from South Africa is scheduled for 25 November 2030.
