These shopping malls are measured by their GLA, which is the amount of space in a commercial building that can be rented by a tenant.
The second spot was taken by Menlyn Mall in Pretoria, with a GLA of 177 000 sqm.
Third largest was Gateway Theatre of Shopping in uMhlanga, with a GLA of 176400 sqm,
As per the findings, Johannesburg was the leading city with most of the large malls in South Africa.
