The Senzo Meyiwa murder trial resumes at the Gauteng Pretoria High Court on Thursday, 7 March. The trial within a trial sees the five men accused of killing former Bafana Bafana captain, Senzo Meyiwa back in court.
The court is currently looking into the admissibility of confessions allegedly made by Muzikawukhulelwa Sibiya and Bongani Ntanzi to the police.

On Wednesday, Warrant officer Meshack Makhubo, who currently works for the Directorate for Priority Crime Investigation (DPCI) took to the witness stand.
Makhubo revealed that officers tasked with investigating the murder of Senzo Meyiwa had different opinions hence the two dockets that exist which implicate different people.
Furthermore, Makhubo revealed that the Senzo Meyiwa murder case was not filed under the SAPS cold case investigating unit. The cold case unit is led by Brigadier Bongani Gininda who is the lead investigator in docket 636 and has previously testified in court.
Five men are on trial at the Gauteng High Court in Pretoria for the murder of Senzo Meyiwa who was killed at the home of his girlfriend and singer Kelly Khumalo on 26 October 2014. The men are: Muzikawukhulelwa Sibiya, Bongani Sandiso Ntanzi, Mthobisi Prince Mncube, Mthokoziseni Maphisa and Fisokuhle Nkani Ntuli.
They face charges of premeditated murder, attempted murder, robbery with aggravated circumstances, possession of firearms without a licence and possession of ammunition. All five men pleaded not guilty.
