Gqeberha’s revamped lounge

SAA’s The Lounge at Chief Dawid Stuurman International Airport in Gqeberha recently reopened after receiving a great new make over.

The premium lounge, which is on the mezzanine level at domestic departures, offers dedicated working spaces and complimentary high-speed WiFi, as well as coffee made by professionally trained baristas and a selection of South African wines and a range of meals, Travel News reports.

“Our beautifully renovated lounges, provide an opportunity for our premium travellers to enjoy SAA’s award-winning brand of hospitality on the ground, as well as in the skies,” SAA Interim CCO, Tebogo Tsimane said.

“With South Africans increasingly returning to the skies over the past few years, it’s clear that many are looking for more comfortable airport experiences as they wait to board their flights.” Tsimane added.
