The memorial service for veteran TV host Derek Watts will be held on Thursday, 31 August at 11:30.

Watts, who appeared on South African TV screens on Sunday evenings for 35 years on Carte Blanche, lost his battle with cancer on Tuesday, 22 August.

He was diagnosed with skin cancer last year, which had reportedly spread to his lungs. 

He was 74.
