More MyCiTi bus stops to be added

The City of Cape Town plans to boost public transport access by introducing four additional MyCiTi bus stops in Parklands and Camps Bay.

The Urban Mobility Directorate says the move aims to make the service more accessible for commuters, according to Councillor Rob Quintas, who oversees the department.

“This proposal follows an assessment of various public requests to make it easier to access the bus service along the existing MyCiTi routes.” Quintas said.

Where will they be located?

The proposed locations are as follows:

  • Along the T03 route, the proposed stop is Tryall West (northbound) near the intersection of West Coast Road and Tryall Road; and then on the opposite side of the road, the proposed stop is Tryall West (southbound).
  • Along the 106 and 107 routes in Camps Bay, the proposed stop is Argyle (eastbound) near the intersection at Argyle Street and Lincoln Road and then on the opposite side of the road, the proposed stop is Argyle (westbound).

The locations are not yet set in stone, as the City will first consider any comments and objections from residents and commuters before 13 May 2025.
