MK Party welcomes a million members in TWO DAYS
Three million people have flocked to the MK Party website since former President Jacob Zuma announce his support
The newly formed uMkhonto Wesizwe Party (MK Party) has rose to popularity since its launch on Saturday, with millions of South African flocking to the party’s membership website.
The launch of the new party coincided with the 62nd anniversary of the African National Congress’ military wing with the same name.

FAST GROWING MK PARTY

The MK Party has already received the vote of former president Jacob Zuma who announced his support of the party over the ruling ANC whom he has served for over six decades.

On the 18 December, just two days after the launch of the party one million people had already used their website to join the party.

Meanwhile, three million are said to have visited the website in the last four days.
A PARTY IN DIS
Meanwhile however, not everyone is happy with the new party with the ANC KwaZulu-Natal Secretary Bheki Mtolo, calling the party fake.

Mtolo says that the real Umkhonto Wesizwe is still within it’a rank and will be campaigning for the elections besides them.
“The new Umkhonto Wesizwe is not a genuine Umkhonto Wesizwe but a party disguised to lure voters and genuine ANC members”, says Mtolo.

“The intention is to create the impression that it is the same as Umkhonto Wesizwe formed ANC.”
