Mama Joy, whose real name is Joy Chauke, is celebrating a joyous occasion unrelated to South African sports—she’s engaged!
Last month, the man dubbed “Papa Joy” fit the bill for her travel to the “City of Love” via business class, no less!
This time around, the mystery man is in South Africa, where he’s proposed to his South African makoti.
MAMA JOY IS ENGAGED!
Over the weekend, Mama Joy revealed that her partner “Papa Joy” had jetted in from France to spend time with her.
An entourage greeted the French man, and together, the couple flew to Cape Town to watch the Springboks play the All Blacks at the DHL Stadium.
Whilst in the city, Papa Joy also proposed to SA’s biggest sports fan – and she accepted!
In pics posted on her social media accounts, the proposal took place at the Cape of Good Hope, where Papa Joy got down on a knee on a South African flag.
Mama Joy – donning a diamond engagement ring – was in a flood of tears. The couple toasted the occasion with a bottle of bubbly.
“He asked me something, and I said yes!” she captioned an emotional clip.
In another post, Mama Joy said of her new love, who is also 50 years old: “Age is just a number. Love lives here”.
WHO IS HUBBY-TO-BE?
Whilst he has been introduced as Papa Joy, Mama Joy’s future husband’s real name is Nicolas Pitaud.
According to social media posts, the French businessman drives a black BMW convertible and lives with his mother.
According to her X bio, Mama Joy is also a mother to two sons, Chad and Kelvin. She also has a granddaughter named Xila.
Little is known about her previous relationships.
