MEC Matome Chiloane acknowledged the challenges faced by the department, revealing that 32 795 pupils, out of the total applicants, remain uncertain about their school placements.
The backlog is attributed to various factors, with incomplete applications and missing essential documents, including home addresses, being primary contributors.
