Daily Sun reported, according to Dr Zarina Ebrahim, a registered dietitian and lecturer at Stellenbosch University, people with Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) face a range of stringent dietary restrictions.

“The liberalisation of the dietary guidelines for CKD patients is now a sparkle of sunshine in a previously doom-and-gloom approach,” she said.
According to Ebrahim, individualized nutrition advice for people with CKD must take into account the disease’s stage, as well as their present health assessments and therapies.
