Joburg commuters OUTRAGED by Rea Vaya poor services
Rea Vaya bus service in Johannesburg is proving to be unreliable nowadays due to the impromptu cancellation of services.
Joburg commuters have been left extremely angry and frustrated by Rea Vaya’s poor services lately.
WHY REA VAYA CANCELLED OPERATIONS TODAY?
This after the bus company cancelled all operations impromptu today, Thursday, 28 September, which left commuters inconvenienced.
“Passengers are informed that Rea Vaya buses are NOT operating today. We advise passengers to seek alternative transport. Regular update on the situation will be given during the course of the day. We apologise for the inconvenience,” the company communicated on social media.

The decision comes after a labour dispute had resulted in almost 10 buses to be out of service earlier this week.

SEVERAL BUSES EXCLUDED FROM OPERATING
The City of Joburg announced the frustrating news to the passengers.
“Rea Vaya Passengers are informed that T1, C1, C2, C3, F1, F2, F3, F4 and F5 buses are NOT operating at the moment. We advise passengers who use these routes to seek alternative transport. Regular updates on the situation will be given. We apologise for the inconvenience,” the City of Joburg communicated on socials.
According to Rea Vaya, the latter buses are temporarily not operating due to a labour dispute between bus drivers and bus operating company.

JOBURG COMMUTERS CRITICISE THE METRO BUS COMPANY
The commuters had their say after the cancellation of operations today.
Kefiloe Ntshabiseng said: “If this company was owned by whites we wouldn’t be where we are now. Let’s admit blacks va hloleha finish and klarrr. In this company is politicians and previous taxi owners what are we expect besides poor service”.
Jephenia Thembekile said: “I think it’s time we people must take action against them badlala ngabantu.”
Makau Geni Manyelo said: “Can you at least give us that money for alternative transport”.
Musa Potentate asked: “Can you Please be honest what is Really Happening?”
Mduduzi Majola replied: “I heard rumours that some drivers are complaining about Jozi cbd traffic as the Rea Vaya route is closed due to the July explosion”.
