Durban beaches and pools: eThekwini Municipality updates list
The eThekwini Municipality recently updated its list of safe swimming beaches and open public swimming pools ahead of the summer season.
Where to swim in eThekwini Municipality
Durban residents and visitors who are concerned about which beaches are safe for swimming will be pleased to hear that the eThekwini Municipality have released updated information regarding this.
According to the municipality, there are currently 20 Durban beaches that are open and regarded as safe for swimming, while three beaches have remained closed due to poor water quality.
These three beaches are Anstey’s Beach, Toti Main Beach, and Pipeline Beach.
