Elton Jantjies could be called up to the Springboks’ training camp after missing out on the end of year tour to Europe last November.

According to Sunday newspaper Rapport, Jantjies has a good chance of being part of the camp in Stellenbosch which starts on Monday, 6 March.
Jantjies last played for the Springboks on 22 August in last year’s Rugby Championship against the Wallabies in Adelaide.

The 32-year-old was left out of the squad that toured Europe last November as he was without a club and lacked match fitness.
ELTON JANTJIES HAS JOIN AGEN IN FRANCE
His absence came after his much-publicised alleged affair with team dietician Zeenat Simjee made headlines and the pair were sent home while the Springboks were in Argentina preparing for a Test against Los Pumas.

Jantjies has since been contracted by French ProD2 side Agen and has played his way back into fitness and form, putting in a series of reportedly impressive performances.
In Jantjies’ absence, Damian Willemse was given the nod in the No 10 jersey, with Manie Libbok his understudy off the bench.
