FIND THE CHEAPEST FUEL NEAR YOU
The free-to-use MyTank app is available for download on all types of smartphones at your app store. Speaking to Business Tech, the app’s creator, Capetonian Rob Gardner, explained he simply wanted an app to find the cheapest fuel possible.

Gardner explains the app was initially developed only to check the price of diesel, as diesel is unregulated and can differ hugely between stations. Even though petrol is more consistently priced across the board, MyTank’s fuel rewards section also means that the app has value to petrol users, too, as some rewards programmes can be hard to decode.
