DA KwaZulu-Natal leader Francois Rodgers directly blamed municipal leaders and officials, specifically Mayor Mxolisi Kaunda and the EFF, on infrastructure.

The DA pledges to bring the issue to parliament, urging the portfolio committee to meet with the community.
