That equates to $5 636 976 or £4 471 717.
According to Seeff website, the property, known as House Zai, is located in Bel Ombre Estate.
The monthly bond repayments, calculated over 20 years at ‘prime’ of 11.75% and assuming no deposit, are R1 159 566.56.
In addition, monthly rates will set the owner back R11 493.
The house itself is 1 407 sqm, and it is set on 2 acres (8 094 sqm) of land with north-facing views of the Constantiaberg mountain range.
House Zai was conceived and designed by globally renowned architect Stefan Antoni from SAOTA.
Construction was initiated in 2014 and completed in 2016 by Belgian master builder Stefan Varewyck.
The property includes six bedrooms, six reception rooms, 6.5 bathrooms, one kitchen, one study, six garages, a flatlet, swimming pool and parking for 20 cars.
