The Constitutional Court has announced a date for the hearing on whether a Secret Ballot should be allowed in Parliament for voting in the Motion of No Confidence in President Jacob Zuma. The date is Monday 15 May 2017, at 10h00.
The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) called it “a date with history” and EFF leader Julius Malema tweeted an invitation to the nation, saying: “Fellow South Africans let’s meet at the Constitutional Court on the 15th May 2017 for secret ballot case. Victory is certain #ZumaWillGo!”
The hashtag has noticeably changed from #ZumaMustFall to the confident #ZumaWillGo.
Yesterday, EFF National Spokesperson Mbuyiseni Ndlozi tweeted a photoshopped picture of the famous Titanic ‘King of the World’ scene with Leonardo di Caprio and Kate Winslet… replaced with Zuma and his ex-wife (and favoured choice to replace him as president), Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma.
The ConCourt hearing comes after an application from the UDM and the EFF. The parties want voting to be secret so that ANC Members of Parliament can vote ‘honestly’ without fear of repercussions.
The #ConCourt has now issued the date for the secret ballot case: 15 May 2017. This means Zuma's end is nigh. #ZumaWillGo. pic.twitter.com/Nzs385neg7

Asked to explain this pic, Zizi Kodwa said: It portrays the movement in a perpendicular perfect imperfection as it approaches the iceberg! 😂 pic.twitter.com/XWAfxOFXUo
