The City of Tshwane has swiftly addressed and dismissed a fraudulent bus drivers’ vacancy announcement circulating on social media and various applications.

The misleading message falsely claims the existence of four available positions. Enticing potential applicants with a salary range between R228 756.00 and R317 712.00 per annum.

City officials became aware of the deceptive notice recently. They promptly clarified that it is entirely baseless.

THE CITY OF TSHWANE URGES THE PUBLIC TO EXERCISE CAUTION

The City emphasises that no such job openings for bus drivers exist. Urging the public to exercise caution and avoid falling victim to this scam.

“The public is cautioned not to fall for this scam, as there is no such notice issued by the City,” said the City of Tshwane.
