Chris Brown is making his return to South African shores this December. Here’s what we know about the concert and tickets so far…

Chris Brown ‘Breezing’ into Jozi this year

Chris Brown is set to perform in Mzansi for one night and one night only this South African summer.

The R&B powerhouse recently revealed that he would be making a long-awaited return to South Africa, to perform one show in Johannesburg this December.

Presented by Big Concerts and Y, the Live in Johannesburg, the Breezy in South Africa concert will take place at the famous FNB Stadium in Johannesburg on Saturday, 14 December.


Ticket information: What we know so far

According to BigConcerts, tickets will be available starting with an invite only pre-sale from 10:00 today, 1 October.

General ticket sales will open at 10:00, Thursday, 3 October. Tickets are also only available from Ticketmaster, with a limit of 8 tickets per person and per credit card.

South African tours

The musician has already performed multiple times in South Africa. His first major appearance was during his Carpe Diem world tour in 2012. He then returned in 2015 for his X Tour, with shows in both Johannesburg and Durban. In 2021, he returned for The Chris Brown Experience Tour.

2012: Carpe Diem Tour – This was Brown’s first major tour in South Africa, where he performed in multiple cities as part of his Carpe Diem world tour. Known for his high-energy performances, the tour featured his popular hits and showcased his signature dance moves.

2015: X Tour – Chris Brown returned in 2015 for the X Tour, performing in Johannesburg as well as Durban. This tour followed the release of his X album, where fans enjoyed tracks like “Loyal” and “New Flame” performed live.

2021: The Chris Brown Experience Tour – He then visited the country again as part of his Chris Brown Experience Tour, further solidifying his strong connection with South African fans, who had only grown since his last visit.
