Capetonians are being asked to urgently share the following message for Friday’s Human Chain at 10am:

From Facebook: “Capetonians please share. In 1989 over 2 million people formed a human chain of over 675km over three states (Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia) to protest over the illegal Russian occupation.

“Join to form a human chain from town to Muizenberg along Main Road, for ten minutes at 10am on Friday. Everyone can easily find their way to the nearest part of Main Road from their suburbs, thus avoiding clogging up the roads to town, to protest #zumamustfall

“So if you can spread the message: 10 am on the area of Main Road nearest to where you live or work for ten minutes.

“We will hold hands to form a chain that We hope will stretch from town to Muizenberg.

“10 FOR TEN!!”
