Mosimane signed a season-long deal with Al Ahli when he joined them in October 2022 with an option to renew.
However, reports continue to make rounds that he could leave Al Ahli despite delivering on the mandate to promote them back to the Saudi Pro League.

Mosimane achieved that two weeks ago, and on Tuesday, he put a cherry on top as Al Ahli won the Saudi Arabian First Division title.
Now, Al Ahli president Walid Moaz said while Mosimane has done well, the club’s ambition is far greater, hinting that they could let him go.

“After the last game [against] Al-Hazem in the league, we will decide at that time whether or not the coach will continue,” Moaz told Kora as per iDiski Times.
“And Pitso Mosimane performed well with the team, but the ambition is greater.”
PITSO SECURES SAUDI ARABIAN FIRST DIVISION TITLE WITH AL AHLI
Pitso Mosimane has successfully won the Saudi Arabian First Division with Al Ahli just a few weeks after securing them promotion to the Pro League.

On Tuesday, Mosimane’s charges took on Al-Qadsiah in their 33rd league match, and they narrowly beat them 1-0 to bag the title.
Mosimane and his team needed to maximum points to move four points clear of second-placed Al-Hazm, and the solitary goal was enough.

What’s fascinating about this title win is that Mosimane was given a mandate to ensure that Al Ahli return to the Saudi Pro League.
And this was in October 2022 when Al Ahli were fifth on the log, and the man from Kagiso has achieved that with flying colours.
