The two suspects arrested in Mbabane for the alleged involvement in the murder of Kiernan ‘AKA’ Forbes and his friend Tebello ‘Tibz’ Motsoane are yet to be deported from Eswatini.

The two were arrested in late February for other cases in Eswatini. They were also in the country illegally.

The lawyer representing the two brothers, Sivesonke Ngwenya, told the SABC that they have yet to receive a comprehensive application for an extradition process.

Royal Eswatini Police Service spokesperson Nosipho Mnguni confirmed that the two brothers, Siyabonga and Malusi Ndimande, were in the country illegally.

Mnguni said they are still in the process of deporting the two to South Africa.

Furthermore, the police spokesperson said the two brothers were supposed to be deported to South Africa because they were in the country illegally; however, there are court processes that have to be followed.

Mnguni said they have to follow a distinct process; the AKA murder suspects will be deported but through extradition, and as soon as all the paperwork is done, they will be taken back to South Africa.

The Ndimande brothers will appear in the Manzini Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday, 5 March.
