As 2023 nears its end, the economic prospects for African nations differ, presenting varied growth scenarios. Some nations enjoy strong growth, while others grapple with more demanding conditions.

HERE ARE THE LEADING GDP PROJECTIONS IN AFRICAN NATIONS
The initial six months surpassed expectations, revealing a robust economic scene, according to Know Afrika.
Despite the overall global predictions staying steady since July, African nations individually showcase diverse GDP projections, offering a nuanced perspective on the continent’s economic well-being.

Equatorial Guinea takes the lead, with a remarkable 6.2% GDP growth projection for 2023. São Tomé and Príncipe follows closely with a 0.5% projection, and South Africa anticipates a 0.9% increase.
Central African Republic, Ghana, Tunisia, Angola, Malawi, Lesotho, and Morocco round out the top 10, each with their respective positive projections.

At the summit is Mozambique with a 7% projection, followed by the Democratic Republic of the Congo at 6.7%. Côte d’Ivoire and Rwanda jointly hold a 6.2% projection, with Ethiopia close behind at 6.1%.
The list concludes with Guinea, The Gambia, Benin, Togo, and Tanzania, each featuring GDP growth projections ranging from 5.2% to 5.9%.
