Multi-Party Coalition (MPC) partner, ActionSA, is delivering its manifesto campaign for the 2024 national and provincial elections at the Ellis Park Indoor Arena in Johannesburg on Saturday.

The party says the manifesto is dedicated to all South Africans whom a failed political establishment has let down – people looking for hope.

‘ALTERNATIVE TO THE FAILED ANC PROMISES,’ SAYS ACTIONSA

“We welcome the opportunity to launch the ActionSA manifesto last, and not just because it’s our manifesto that will be clearest in the minds of South Africans when they go to vote,” the party said.

“We have had the chance to witness the political establishment misread the national mood spectacularly by making grandiose promises that lack credibility,” it continued.

“This has set ActionSA up to focus not just on what an ActionSA government will deliver, but also to communicate credible plans on how this will be implemented so that South Africans can believe in an alternative to the failed establishment,” the party said.

‘CREATE JOBS THROUGH PUBLIC AND PRIVATE PARTNERSHIPS’

ActionSA said that at the top of its priorities was creating jobs to grow the economy through private and public sector partnerships and programs.

“We want to see the 2.3 million young South Africans in Gauteng employed. We want to see the 35 years and older employed. It is possible. It can be done,”

“We cannot trust those who failed us when It comes to our energy system. ActionSA is the ONLY party that can fix South Africa’s energy crisis!” – Mpho Madisha, a member of the Fix SA Team for Energy and Mineral Resources, said.

“ActionSA will provide education that prepares our learners and graduates to be active participants in the economy, not only in South Africa but globally,” says Dr.Tutu Faleni, a Fix SA Team for Higher Education member.

ACTIONSA SAYS ITS TRACK RECORD IN GOVERNMENT SPEAKS FOR ITSELF

ActionSA said it was ready to stage this historic event ahead of our contestation for the party’s first national and provincial election. At a time, the party said, more South Africans were seeking hope.

“ActionSA is pleased that these plans will be led by our President, who remains one of the very few party leaders who have any kind of track record in government and even fewer with a positive track record,” the party said.

“South Africans have been failed, time and again, by political rhetoric which has never translated into tangible improvements in the lives of South Africans,” it concluded.
