When it comes to weddings, most brides — and grooms — will accept nothing but perfection. From the decor to the venue, everything must be exactly the way they want it. This becomes even more the case when it comes to their wedding dress. This is why one bride-to-be became infuriated after her future mother-in-law tried on her wedding dress.

One bride-to-be has had her special experience destroyed by her future mother-in-law who insisted on trying on her wedding gown

“I bought my wedding dress weeks ago. My future mother-in-law kept pestering me about trying it on but I firmly refused,” wrote a bride who had taken to Reddit to vent her frustrations.

According to her post, the persistent woman even offered to give her $100 just to try the dress on because she ‘has an obsession’ with wedding dresses.

After refusing, she thought the issue was finally dropped but this was not the case.

She went on to explain how she came home from work early one day to find her fiancé suspiciously trying to stop her from going into they bedroom.

“I opened the door and was shocked to see his mom standing there wearing my dress. I instantly pulled out my phone and took a photo of her in it,” she wrote.

She now wants her future MIL to pay for a new dress — an idea the MIL is not happy with.

Meanwhile, many in the comment section agreed that she was NTA (not the a**hole). They have however questioned the groom-to-be who clearly helped his mom ignore the future bride’s wishes.
