The South African Police Service (SAPS) in the Western Cape is offering a reward for information about the murder of Warren Rhoode, 30, the son of Major-General Wally Rhoode, who heads President Cyril Ramaphosa’s protection unit.

WARREN RHOODE FOUND STABBED IN DELFT
Rhoode’s body was found on 22 April near Sandelhout Street in Thubelitsha, Delft, on 22 April. He had multiple stab wounds.
“His vehicle, a black VW Polo, which he was driving at around the time of his death, is still missing, and it is suspected that he was killed during a robbery, possibly in the Delft area,” said police spokesperson Colonel Andre Traut.

R50 000 REWARD
The police are offering a reward of up to R50 000 to any individual who can help them with information that leads to an arrest and successful conviction of the suspect or suspects behind Rhoode’s murder.
“All information will be treated confidentially, and you may remain anonymous,” said Traut.
