Following their impressive run in the Nedbank Cup, Dondol Stars are reaping the rewards with their midfielder having joined Sekhukhune United.

On Thursday, Dondol Stars announced Thabang Mnyembane‘s transfer to the DStv Premiership outfit with immediate effect.
Mnyembane is a central midfielder who shone during the team’s run in the Nedbank Cup where they exited in the quarter-final stage.

Dondol Stars had beaten SuperSport United and AmaZulu on their way to the quarter-finals before losing on penalties to eventual winners Orlando Pirates.
And Mnyembane proved to be among those who stood out for Dondol Stars throughout their fairytale run.

He was also instrumental in Dondol Stars winning the Gauteng ABC Motsepe League although they were unfortunate to make it far in the National Playoffs in KwaZulu-Natal.
Mnyembane will now get to taste topflight football as well as continental football as Sekhukhune United will be campaigning in the CAF Confederation Cup next season.
