‘Stress’: How Justine found out Elon Musk was filing for divorce

Canadian author Justine Musk, the ex-wife of South African-born billionaire Elon Musk revealed how she found out she was getting divorced on an episode of The Elon Musk Show.

WHERE DID ELON MUSK MEET JUSTINE?

Elon Musk met Justine in college when the pair were in the same abnormal psychology class. On The Elon Musk Show, the narrator revealed that Justine and Elon were highly competitive with each other.

“Justine scored 97 percent in the exam. Elon scored 98,” says the narrator.

Musk and Justine had six children together – their first born Nevada tragically passed away due to Sudden Infant Death Syndrome. The pair then welcomed a pair of twins born as Griffin and Xavier in 2004.

Xavier legally changed her gender and name to Vivian Jenna Wilson this year, just days after her 18th birthday. She distanced herself from her billionaire father and took on her mother’s maiden surname.

In 2006, Justine welcomed triplets Kai, Saxon and Damian. The pair turned to In Vitro Fertilisation (IVF) to grow their family.

HOW JUSTINE FOUND OUT ABOUT THE DIVORCE

Elon’s mom Maye revealed that when you date or marry the billionaire you don’t see him much which makes things difficult. Justine then revealed that she found out that Elon was filing for divorce via her therapist.

“We were seeing a marital therapist. And I think he just got tired of the stress and the uncertainty of it, and the next day…I went in to my therapist’s office and he had left a message for her to tell me that he was filing for divorce,” she said.

“So, that was how I found out,” she continued.

Soon after filing for divorce Elon met a then-up-and-coming actress Talulah Riley who he later married and divorced… twice.
