After the death of Zindzi Mandela, who was ambassador to Denmark, was made public earlier today, it was announced that Claudinah Ramosepele, a former ambassador to Switzerland, had also died.
“Deepest condolences from all at DIRCO to the families, friends and colleagues of Ambassadors Ramosepele and Mandela. Both have served South Africa well. May their souls rest in eternal peace. #RIPZindziMandela #RIPClaudinahRamosepele,” the Department of International Relations and Cooperation said on Twitter.
Ramosepele was the South African ambassador to Switzerland for four years, until late 2017. DIRCO did not release any other details.
