Roads in Eastern Cape Open Again after Snow Closures

With the weather service predicting more snow tomorrow, some roads in the Eastern Cape, especially near Graaff-Reinet, were temporarily closed.
The N9 from Graaff-Reine to Middelburg and the R61 from Cradock towards the N9 were closed as the result of dangerous driving conditions due to snowfall, but according to news reports have been opened again this morning.
In a video (see below) posted of a woman driving near Graaff-Reinet on the Lootsberg Pass, she said it was very beautiful, “but very scary.”
“Another cold front will be arriving in the Western Cape tomorrow (Thursday 28 May 2020) with some good falls possible especially over the SW-Cape,” the SA Weather Service tweeted.
