Patron called out for tipping waiter R35 on R1050 bill – WATCH

Popular TikToker @Larrybyday recently dragged a patron for tipping a waiter (Lungi) R35 for his R1050 bill at a Cape Town restaurant called Brocka.

PATRON TOLD TO ‘HAVE A HEART’  

The TikToker @larrybyday share an image of the bill and revealed his disappointment towards the patron who thought it was okay to tip the R35 from his R1050 bill.

“Eat at home, this was disrespectful, these people slaved at your table and also have family that needs to eat,” said Larry.

The bill also shows that the patron spent R1015 on his meal, was supposed to tip the waiter R101.15 and removed a R50 from that R100 and only tipped R35 as his total bill was R1050.

The receipt also reveals that the unknown customer was served by a waiter called Lungi and the patron was at Brocka restaurant at Canal Walk in Cape Town in June 2023.
