Pirates are currently part of a massive 30-team training group, according to SoccerLaduma.
The group consists of English Premier League sides Aston Villa and Bournemouth as well as newly-promoted La Liga side UD Las Palmas.

Therefore, the Bucs team will have a chance to watch and train alongside EPL sides Villa and Bournemouth.
In fact, they are the only African team to be included in this massive 30-team international training camp, according to the same publication.

Head coach, Jose Riveiro, arranged this camp in Spain to prepare his players for the season ahead.
Next season the Bucs will be competing in the UEFA Champions League. Furthermore, after their impressive run of form last season many fans are expecting them to push Mamelodi Sundowns for the PSL title next season.

The Bucs won the MTN8 and Nedbank Cup during Riveiro’s first season in charge. This also included a shock 3-0 trouncing of Sundowns in the semi-finals of the Nedbank Cup.
The training camp will is underway and will run until Saturday, 08 July 2023.
BUSY PRE-SEASON PLANNED FOR BUCS IN EUROPE
The Bucs have lined up three friendlies against International opposition from Europe.
“The Buccaneers will play formidable opposition during this period. On July 13, Riveiro’s men will face Israeli outfit Maccabi Tel Aviv, before taking on Independiente da Valle [from Ecuador] two days later,”
