The most high-profile name on the list is that of goalkeeper David de Gea. The 32-year old shot-stopper was a favourite a few seasons ago but his mistakes in the past two seasons has seen him lose support from fans. He might leave United after his previous contract had a one-year extension clause but the Red Devils declined to trigger due to concerns over his £375,000-a-week wages.

MAN UNITED COULD BE FORCED TO SELL DE GEA
“David De Gea’s contract is due to run out but discussions remain open with the long-serving keeper,” Man United said in a statement this week.
Man United this week announced that defensive duo of Phil Jones and Axel Tuanzebe have been released. Jones was signed by former United boss Sir Alex Ferguson back in 2011 but his time at the club was halted due to injuries.
Midfielder Ethan Galbraith has been released alongside 20-year-old right-back Charlie Wellens and 22-year-old centre-back Di’Shon Bernard, the club confirmed.
United have so far announced Mount as the new signing ahead of the 2023/24 season. It is believed that the club are offloading 13 players this summer as they look to secure funds to buy top players.
