LOTTO WINNER KISSES DARK DAYS GOODBYE, PLANS ON GETTING SOLAR POWER

While many South Africans are still bearing the brunt of endless load shedding and power cuts, one woman is saying goodbye to the darkness and hello to solar power.

The woman, who, like many other lotto winners, has decided to stay anonymous for security reasons.

Speaking on her behalf, Charmaine Mabuza, CEO of Ithuba, shared that the lucky mother has decided that one of the first things she will be doing with her R3,982,072.10 is investing in solar energy for her business.

A BANKING APP WIN

Also according to the statement, she won the 4 July draw after using the Standard Bank app.

While she usually purchased lotto tickets and received direct deposits, this time, she received an sms that left her smiling from ear to ear.
